Cancellation & Appointment Policy
Booking Policy
All appointments booked over the phone or online require a credit card on file to secure your reservation. No charges are made at the time of booking; your card is only used in the event of late cancellations, no-shows, or applicable fees.
Please note: All appointment cancellations or reschedules must be made by phone if your appointment is within 24 hours. Text messages or emails will not be accepted as a form of communication to cancel or reschedule appointments.
Cancellation Policy
24+ Hours Notice: Cancel or reschedule more than 24 hours before your appointment with no fee. Reminder texts and calls are sent 48 hours prior.
Same-Day Changes (within 24 hours): A 50% charge of the service(s) booked will apply. A deposit may also be required to secure future appointments.
No-Shows: Failure to attend your appointment will result in a 100% charge of the service(s) booked.
Late Arrivals: Guests arriving more than 30 minutes late cannot be accommodated. A 100% charge of the service(s) booked will apply, and a deposit will be required for all future bookings.
Corrective Color
Corrective or major color changes require an in-person consultation and a $150 deposit, applied toward your scheduled service.
New Guest Agreement
All new clients are required to complete and sign a New Client Contract upon arrival at their first appointment. This ensures clear communication, protects your booking, and helps us provide the highest level of service tailored to your needs.
Right to Refuse Service
The Coloroom reserves the right to refuse service to any client at any time, for any reason.
Guest Satisfaction
Our top priority is the satisfaction of every guest. We are committed to delivering results that exceed expectations and tailoring each service to your unique needs.
Redo Policy
If you are unsatisfied with your service, we would love the opportunity to make it right. Redo services are offered free of charge within 7 days of your original appointment.
Redos apply to the original service performed and cannot be used to change your look. Additional services will be charged at full price.
Redos will not be honored if the service was altered at another salon or if recommended at-home / in- salon care was not followed.
Refunds are not provided for services rendered. Guests may book with their original artist or another Coloroom artist.
Retail & Product Returns
We offer the highest quality professional retail products. If you are dissatisfied, returns may be made within 7 days of purchase for exchange or store credit.
Brushes, discounted items, and gift cards are final sale and non-refundable.
Pricing
Service prices vary based on length, thickness, condition, and desired result. For accurate pricing, we recommend booking a complimentary in-person consultation.
Additional Salon Policies
Payment Policy
To provide flexibility and convenience, The Coloroom accepts the following forms of payment:
Cash
All Major Credit & Debit Cards (a 3% processing fee applies)
Venmo
Tipping: Gratuities are greatly appreciated as a way to thank your artist for their artistry and service. Tips are not included in service pricing and cannot be accepted via credit or debit card. Each artist accepts cash or Venmo for gratuities.
Disputes: Any attempt to dispute, reverse, or charge back a valid payment for services rendered will be considered theft of service. The Coloroom reserves the right to pursue the matter in full, including filing a police report and seeking legal action.
Box Dye Policy
At The Coloroom, we do not work over box dye without a corrective color process. Box dye often contains metallic salts and unpredictable pigments that can cause uneven results and damage when combined with professional color.
If you have used box dye within the last year, please let us know during your consultation. Corrective color services will be required and may take multiple sessions to achieve your desired result. Additional pricing and deposits may apply.
Children Policy
For safety and insurance purposes, children not receiving a service must remain in the designated waiting area, away from chemicals and salon tools.
Advertising & Media Information
The Coloroom regularly shares our work on social media as part of our brand’s artistry and advertising. If you prefer not to participate, please notify your stylist, our front desk, or a manager.
